The Chinese company Xiaomi is not taking a break a keeps launching new products, and today the company launched its first-ever foldable smartphone. As we told you earlier about this phone.
The company calls it “the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold”, its design is very similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold. It has 8.01 inches of OLED display (unfold) and it has 6.5 inches of the screen when it is folded with 90Hz of refresh rate.
It has a punch hole camera at the front and a triple camera setup at the back. It offers a 20-megapixel shooter at the front. On the back, we get to see three cameras including 108-megapixel (wide), 13-megapixel (ultra wide), and 8-megapixel.
Mi Mix Fold is powered by snapdragon 888 chipset, with two batteries one 2,460mAh and the other 2,560mAh (total 5,020mAh). It has 67 watts of fast charging, and the company claims that the phone will be charged fully in just 37 minutes. This phone will have Android 10 (MIUI 12) rather than Android 11. Gorilla Glass 5 at the back with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Price and Availability
This first-ever Xiaomi Mi Mix fold phone is for the Chinese market. The starting price for this phone will be 9,999 Chinese yuan (~1,521) for the 12GB/256GB variant. There is no detail on whether this first Xiaomi foldable will be available for the global market.
