On April 22, Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) posted some 5K renders of the new unofficial Samsung Galaxy A22 5G on Twitter. This indicates that Samsung is working on the new Galaxy A-series phone, as we had seen the company launching Galaxy A32, A52, and A72 back in March.
According to the Galaxy A22 5G renders, we can see a triple camera setup with a flash LED inside the camera module. It looks pretty much like the Google Pixel devices, such as the Pixel 4a. It is reported that the Galaxy A22 will have a 5G and a 4G version. The 4G version will be shipped to the regions where 5G is not available yet.
Moving forward, the phone has thin bezels at the right and left, but with think bottom. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm jack at the bottom. There is no news on the specifications yet.
The previous Galaxy A32 price was around $280, and we expect that the Samsung Galaxy A22 price will be less than this, even it has 5G support.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G release date is expected to be lately in June, maybe with no special event.
